Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, dealing with difficult behaviors, basic care methods like feeding and diapering, marketing and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including the importance of not giving out personal information and what to do if somebody comes to the door. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive acertificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years).

Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Class will end between 2 PM and 3 PM depending on when students complete the course requirements.

Students need a lunch, snacks, and a fully charged cell phone (if they own one). If your student does not have a cell phone, please write down the cell phone number of the person picking them up and give it to the student. Students will message their ride at lunchtime to let their ride know what time to pick them up. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the classroom. This is an add on class for students who participate in the Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course on the same day (students of a previous Live Safe Academy Certified Babysitter/CPR/FirstAid course can become a certified pet sitter by taking a live virtual class). This program will begin after the babysitter safety class ends. Class should be concluded by 3 PM to 4 PM, depending on whenthe babysitter safety course is completed. Sew your very trick-or-treat bag for Halloween this year.  After sewing, make your own spooky set of earrings!

This class is three hours in duration, and no experience is necessary.

Open to students ages 6-12. 

For age 6 and up. Basic foil fencing for anyone interested in learning the sport. Wear sneakers and exercise clothing, all equipment provided. Limit 10 students.

For Ages 6+. You must have attended the Beginning Fencing class at least once to join. Learn about fencing that will bring the age-old sword fight to modern times.  All equipment is provided.  Please wear sneakers and exercise clothes. 

Tumble Bunnies uses equipment to create fun, energized, and fast moving classes that teach children the sport of gymnastics.  Cartwheels, handstands, back walkovers, rolling, and skills taught on floor, bars, beam, vault, mats, tunnels, and trampolines are some examples of what children will learn from Tumble Bunnies' Gymnastics classes.  Movement To Music is included in every class which creates a fun atmosphere to build coordination, rhythm, and timing.

This fun,interactive and age-appropriate workshop teaches essential, lifesaving information about the dangers thatour children face, strategies for prevention and real-world techniques designed to reduce their risk ofabductions, assaults, and other forms of violence. Ages: 6 - 11

In this caregiver and child class, there will be story reading followed by an arts and crafts activity that matches the theme of the story.  Learning games and activities will also be played.  While enjoying pleasant activities, children will learn to follow directions in addition to developing fine motor skills .
