Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, dealing with difficult behaviors, basic care methods like feeding and diapering, marketing and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including the importance of not giving out personal information and what to do if somebody comes to the door. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive acertificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years).

Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Class will end between 2 PM and 3 PM depending on when students complete the course requirements.

Students need a lunch, snacks, and a fully charged cell phone (if they own one). If your student does not have a cell phone, please write down the cell phone number of the person picking them up and give it to the student. Students will message their ride at lunchtime to let their ride know what time to pick them up. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the classroom. Kids, would you like to learn pet first aid and be a certified Pet Sitter? Increase your competitive edge by being more valuable to families with pets and kids. Increase your market bybeing certified to watch pets or kids. Learn to care for the pets in your own family. Have fun and help keep animals safe. Topics include pet first aid, CPR, choking, and more!

This is an add on class for students who participate in the Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course on the same day (students of a previous Live Safe Academy Certified Babysitter/CPR/FirstAid course can become a certified pet sitter by taking a live virtual class). This program will begin after the babysitter safety class ends. Class should be concluded by 3 PM to 4 PM, depending on whenthe babysitter safety course is completed. Creative Nature: Weird & Wild Art Camp

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification card will be issued upon successful completion of course requirements (valid for two years). Elena Victoria Fashion Design and Sewing Camp

Come design and create your own clothing! Students will learn how to operate a sewing machine, sew garments from scratch, and see their designs come to life! A different garment will be made each day. No sewing experience required. This is a great class for all experience levels as the projects can be adjusted based on skill level.

Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine. If they do not own one, a machine will be provided for them. The week ends with a fashion show on Friday where the students get to display all of their hard work! All materials are included. Camps can be booked AM and PM as well as multiple weeks as projects and fabrics differ from day to day. Repeat student? No problem! We will have a variety of new projects this year! Bring a peanut free snack and beverage.

NASA Camp: Academy of Future Space Explorers

Mad Science has teamed up with NASA in a quest for exploration! We’ll take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond as we explore planets, moons, and other space phenomena in our solar system. Things will heat up as we examine the sun and other stars and discover the difficulties of space travel! Kids will get a firsthand experience of the challenges of living in space as they try to assemble a satellite while training to be an astronaut. For added fun, we’ll learn about the various technologies that make space exploration possible while bouncing lasers around the room! Kids will love to build their own Mad Science Skyblazer Rocket and participate in a real “NASA” style rocket launch.  Campers will receive many cool NASA take homes items!  

Astro Innovators Camp

Think and act like NASA Innovators during this hands-on program inspired by NASA’s current missions. The primary focus will include the ARTEMIS mission to the moon during which NASA will land the first woman and next man on the moon’s surface by 2024, using innovative technologies to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before. Kids will love to design their mission patches and build their own rovers as they put themselves in the shoes of an astronaut. The sky is no longer the limit in this hands-on camp!
