Belly Dance for EveryBODY

Are you ready to explore a beautiful dance form that is both rich in history and continues to evolve and delight to this day? In this class you will develop body isolations, basic walking patterns, and dance combinations. This class is for beginners with little to no prior belly dance instruction. All bodies are welcome! While you can expect to move in new ways, there will always be a focus on safe movements with modifications available.

Ages 16+
Modern Manners for Children (Ages 8-15)
with Detroit Academy of Etiquette
The Modern Manners program provides children the tools they need to navigate a complicated world with kindness, class, and confidence. This age appropriate program takes place over an elegant three-course meal and empowers children to elevate their behaviors to make others (and themselves) more comfortable.
Topics include:
- First impressions and introductions
- Greetings and handshakes
- Polite conversations and friendship
- How to speak to adults and other superiors
- Correspondence and phone manners

- Dining etiquette, including handling and cutting food, place setting 101, polite table manners, how to handle tricky foods and so much more
Beginner Fencing (Age 6+)

For age 6 and up. Basic foil fencing for anyone interested in learning the sport. Wear sneakers and exercise clothing, all equipment provided. Limit 10 students.
Intermediate Fencing
with Dave Foley
For Ages 6+. You must have attended the Beginning Fencing class at least once to join. Learn about fencing that will bring the age-old sword fight to modern times. All equipment is provided. Please wear sneakers and exercise clothes.
